Estrella Resources Limited (ASX: ESR) (Estrella or the Company) is pleased to advise that it has received export authorisation from the Government of Timor-Leste for the proposed export of its Ira Miri manganese bulk sample via the Tenu Port Facility. The approval advances the Company’s bulk sample programme from extraction and stockpiling towards sale and export. It follows the customer selection process and the previously received approvals to prepare the barge landing site and transport the stockpile to that location.¹ Causeway construction is underway at the Tenu Port Facility to enable manganese to be transferred to a barge and then onto the customer’s vessel. Manganese ore is being moved from the stockpile to the loading area in preparation for the arrival of the barge and vessel. Estrella advised on 13 October 2026 that execution of the sales agreement was conditional on export approval. We have extracted the bulk sample and progressed the customer selection process. Our focus now is on completing the commercial and logistics arrangements needed to deliver it. “The value of this programme extends beyond the initial parcel. It will allow us to assess customer response to the material and test the export process, providing practical information to guide the next stage of Ira Miri’s development.” From bulk sample to market appraisal In January 2026, Estrella executed an agreement with ANM authorising extraction of up to 30,000 tonnes of manganese material for market appraisal. The programme was designed to support metallurgical, quality and commercial assessments with prospective international buyers.² The previously disclosed market appraisal parcel is approximately 27,000 tonnes.¹ The export programme provides an opportunity to evaluate the material in customer operations, establish practical delivery requirements and inform discussions on potential longer-term supply. These outcomes will help Estrella assess the commercial potential of Ira Miri and support work towards a Category A Mining Licence for any future full-scale development.³ The approval relates to the market appraisal parcel. It does not constitute approval for ongoing commercial mining. Binding sales terms and shipment arrangements will be reported as they are finalised. Export approval does not, by itself, represent a completed sale or recognised revenue. This approval is separate from the previously disclosed approval for a small manganese trial parcel to be transported overland to West Timor, Indonesia.¹ This announcement has been approved by the Board on behalf of Estrella for release to the ASX.
